Consulting Ltd

Why Going Long?

Going Long Consulting Ltd was created after the fabulous summer of 2012, up until then I had been busily merging three business units , The Searchworks, Guava and Netbooster into one Netbooster UK unit having managed the sale of Tradedoubler AB’s search business to Netbooster SA.

Once I had some perspective on that situation I discovered that I could get a job, and a nicely paid one at that but not one I was wholly excited or driven by. At the same time and by accident I started doing some work to help some people that I had known a while and was unable to assist when embroiled in some serious merger, acquisition and post implementation work.

So I needed an entity to bill from and Going Long Consulting was created, so called as it mirrors the journey of the business owner and my passion for Ironman Triathlon being the title of the excellent book by Joe Friel and Gordon Bryn on Ironman training.

The purpose of Going Long Consulting Ltd is to help people set, articulate and attain their goals and organise their businesses to deliver this for them through whatever support they need to get them there.

I have set a goal of helping over five hundred business owners to their best outcomes and there is a ticker on this site so you can check up on how I am doing with that!
